Just in time for YPF!!!

Look what arrived today! It's a happy mail day and arrived just in time for YARN P0 rn Friday!!! Above, my Etsy purchases from last week: Pigeon Roof Studios "Plum Tortie", The Fiber Denn's "Silver Forest", and Sanguine Griffon's Traveller sock yarn in "Mali'! (And it looks like they just put up MORE in their Etsy store!-hint-hint, Nartian!-lol!) The Silver Forest proved to be more green than the silver/gray I had imagined it would be. Fine with me! I love it and I love greens! Mali had less burgundy/brown than I thought it would-there are actually bits of bright yellow, fuschia, cherry red and hot pink mixed with a very medium gingery-brown. No complaints here, either, since alot of my picks lately have had more brown than expected.

Sanguine Gryphon wins out on packaging-nice box and beautiful calligraphy hand-addressed to me! Not that the other two packages weren't nicely packaged, but I love the tags on the yarn and the calligraphy! The Fiber Denn labels on the yarn were lovely, as well. And yet, I just am so impressed with the Pigeon Roof Studios color combinations.

Oh...and I just wound the new Fleece Artist in Rainforest! The teal adds the highlight to the foresty green/gold combination and looks spectacular! Yes, true SABLE (Stash Acquisition Beyond Life Expectancy) going on here!
