I hadn't revealed my latest sock kit. I guess because so many people I know already have theirs up that I just figure it's old news. But here it is-and my pic of our pattern is from the back so that you can get a better view of the pattern (they use a larger pic on the back). The colorway is Firebird and the pattern is Summer Solstice, which is a slip stitch pattern. I am dying to start it, but with Nartian being the more focused one, she sets a good example for me and I am trying to at least finish my Horcrux before casting on for the Summer Solstice.

And remember how we were talking lemmings? Well, me following a lemming, I guess it make's me a lemming's lemming! As a result, a lovely new skein of merino/cashmere (Moonlight colorway) from The Knittery in Australia. If you can believe it, I only purchased one skein, despite the shipping...Yeah, every once in a rare while I behave! It helped that I wanted another merino/cashmere and I didn't truly 'love' any of the other colors left. Well-I did love a few, but they were probably too close to the color grouping I have waaaay too much of!
