Well...she and I were going to take pics of our skeins together, only I forgot mine and she and I will be missing each other at work. She'll soon be casting-on, so a side-by-side won't be happening afterall...
But look what I found-and forgot I even placed in Flickr!...

But here is my other lack of comprehension on the argument that our new colorway is very close to Tidepooling...Tina wrote in her Dyer's Notes that "no two will be the same" and that these are somewhat "Rare Gems" since her 'swooshing' of the red into the skein cannot be done the same on each skein. So...if no two skeins of this one colorway cannot be the same, how can this colorway even be the same as Tidepooling? And where is the red in Tidepooling? Tell me: who's on drugs?

You gotta do what I do....stop reading those threads :) hehehehe
But I agree with you! It would be hard for me to pass up either!! Especially at a sale...you know..like this weekend... online.... hugs!
Where's that blasted Agree button! You should see them both as Rare Gems, ie overdyed! Very Pretty.
Thanks for the side by side photo. Yup, you proved your point. I LOVE both of them.
Hope you are doing well.

Wow! I didn't know there was such controversy!
Nothing dorky about that picture. Both skeins are so beautiful.
I was thinking the same thing but didn't spend the time to really look into it, and since the 2 colorways are both colors I truly love, there's no complaining by me. I love both but am at odds with which one I love the most, that will drive me crazy!
agree and mine are even less similar. i think i have pics on rav in stash...since i am blogless!

We could still do a Rainbow comparison later. Monday? I've cast on socks for DH (his request) and I'll soon cast on for my m-i-l's socks instead of the sweater DH first suggested.
I don't think the skeins look the same....FPS! CLearly you've proven that they're different! YEAH! I love BMFA, and Muddy Autumn Rainbow is my favorite so far this year. Love, love, love it! All my favorite colors!
